mwhybark: @zipties alternately, bringing several small pets into the work environment appears to help: bunnies, hamsters, mice, budgies, gila lizards
mwhybark: @zipties also look at shoes, no eye contact, "yes, sir," "no, sir..." you know, politeness mitigates violence, like that.
